If you're having problems with PayPal then check the following:
- Make sure you have sufficient funds in your account.
- If you link your PayPal account to a credit or debit card a payment can still fail if it has been blocked by the card issuer.
- Make sure the linked the card is in date.
- Make sure you can buy in GBP
